Chinese Recipes - Anise Prawns Recipe
Ingredients
45 ml/3 tbsp groundnut (peanut) oil
15 ml/1 tbsp soy sauce
5 ml/1 tsp sugar
120 ml/4 fl oz/1/2 cup fish stock
pinch of ground anise
450 g/1lb peeled prawns
Method:
Heat the oil, add the soy sauce, sugar, stock and anise and bring to the boil.
Add the prawns and simmer for a few minutes until heated through and flavored.
