Crab with Ginger Recipe
Ingredients

15 ml/1 tbsp groundnut
(peanut) oil

2 slices ginger root,
chopped
-
4 spring onions
(scallions), chopped
-
3 cloves garlic, crushed
-
1 red chili pepper,
chopped
-
350 g/12 oz crab meat,
flaked
-
2.5 ml/1/2 tsp fish paste
-
2.5 ml/1/2 tsp sesame oil
-
15 ml/1 tbsp rice wine or
dry sherry
-
5 ml/1 tsp corn-flour
(cornstarch)
-
15 ml/1 tbsp water
Method:
-
Heat the oil and fry the ginger, spring onions,
garlic and chili for 2 minutes.

Add the crab meat
and stir until well coated with the spices. Stir in
the fish paste.

Mix the remaining ingredients to a
paste then stir them into the pan and stir-fry for 1
minutes. Serve at once.
