Chinese Seafood Recipes - Fried Plaice Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 plaice fillets

  • salt and freshly ground pepper

  • 30 ml/2 tbsp groundnut (peanut) oil

  • 1 slice ginger root, minced

  • 1 clove garlic, crushed

  • lettuce leaves


Method:

  1. Season the plaice generously with salt and pepper. Heat the oil and fry the ginger and garlic for 20 seconds.

  2. Add the fish and fry until cooked through and golden brown. Drain well and serve on a bed of lettuce.
