Oysters with Black Bean Sauce Recipe
Ingredients

350 g/12 oz shelled oysters
-
120 ml/4 fl oz/1/2 cup peanut oil
-
2 cloves garlic, crushed
-
3 spring onions
(scallions), sliced

15 ml/1 tbsp black bean
sauce
-
30 ml/1 tbsp dark soy sauce
-
15 ml/1 tbsp sesame oil
-
pinch chili powder
Method:
-
Blanch the oysters in boiling water for 30 seconds
then drain.
-
Heat the oil and stir-fry the garlic and
spring onions for 30 seconds.
-
Add the black bean
sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil and oysters and season
to taste with chili powder. Stir-fry until heated
through and serve at once.
