Prawns with Celery Recipe
Ingredients

45 ml/3 tbsp groundnut
(peanut) oil
-
3 slices ginger root, minced
-
450 g/1b peeled prawns
-
5 ml/1 tsp salt
-
15 ml/1 tbsp sherry

4 stalks celery, chopped
-
100 g/4 oz almonds, chopped
Method:
-
Heat half the oil
and fry the ginger until lightly browned. Add the
prawns, salt and sherry and stir-fry until well
coated in oil then remove from the pan.

Heat the
remaining oil and stir-fry the celery and almonds
for a few minutes until the celery is just tender
but still crisp.
-
Return the prawns to the pan, mix
well and heat through before serving.
