Prawns and Pea Stir-Fry Recipe
Ingredients

450 g/1lb peeled prawns
-
5 ml/1 tsp sesame oil
-
5 ml/1 tsp salt
-
30 ml/2 tbsp groundnut
(peanut) oil

1 clove garlic, crushed
-
1 slice ginger root, minced
-
225 g/8 oz blanched or
frozen peas, thawed
-
4 spring onions
(scallions), chopped
-
30 ml/2 tbsp water
-
salt and pepper
Method:
-
Mix the prawns with the sesame oil and salt. Heat
the oil and stir-fry the garlic and ginger for 1
minute.

Add the prawns and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
Add the peas and stir-fry for 1 minute.

Add the
spring onions and water and season with salt and
pepper and a little more sesame oil, if liked. Heat
through, stirring carefully, before serving.
