Prawns with Tomatoes Chili Sauce Recipe
Ingredients

60 ml/4 tbsp groundnut
(peanut) oil

15 ml/1 tbsp minced ginger
-
15 ml/1 tbsp minced garlic
-
15ml/1 tbsp minced spring
onion
-
60 ml/4 tbsp tomato puree
(paste)

15 ml/1 tbsp chili sauce
-
450 g/1lb peeled prawns
-
5 ml/1 tbsp corn-flour
(cornstarch)

15m/1 tbsp water
Method:
-
Heat the oil and stir-fry the ginger, garlic and
spring onion for 1 minute.

Add the tomato puree and chili sauce and mix well. Add the prawns and
stir-fry for 2 minutes.

Blend the corn-flour and
water to a paste, stir it into the pan and simmer
until the sauce thickens. Serve at once.
