Chinese Seafood Recipes - Steamed Mussels Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1.5 kg/3 lb mussels, scrubbed and bearded

  • 45 ml/3 tbsp soy sauce

  • 3 spring onions (scallions), finely chopped


Method:

  1. Arrange the mussels on a rack in a steamer, cover and steam over boiling water for about 10 minutes until all the mussels have opened. Discard any that remain closed.

  2. Transfer to a warmed serving dish and serve sprinkled with soy sauce and spring onions.
