Low Fat Recipes - Stir fried Chicken With Bean Sprouts
Ingredients
-
1/4 cup (60ml) vegetable stock
-
1/4 lb (110g) fresh chicken
breast, skinned and shredded
-
1 lb (450g) bean sprouts, roots
removed
-
2 tsp (10ml) cornstarch
-
2 tsp (10ml) dry sherry
-
1/4 tsp (1ml) sugar
-
1 tbsp (15ml) salt-reduced soy
sauce
Method:
-
Heat
stock in a non-stick pan. Add chicken strips and
stir-fry 3 minutes. Add bean sprouts. Cook covered 2
minutes. Blend cornstarch, sherry, sugar and soy
sauce. Stir in to thicken. Serve at once.

Serve garnished with green onion shreds.
