Ingredients
1 teaspoon finely chopped
spring onion
pinch each salt and Ve-Tsin
(M.S.G.)
few shakes white pepper
few drops ginger sherry
few drops sesame oil
2 eggs
2 tablespoons cold water
Method:
Turn the onion
into a basin. Add the seasonings, sherry and sesame
oil and work them together.
Break the eggs
into the basin and add the water. Whip to a froth
with a rotary whisk or electric mixer.
Turn into an
oiled basin, filling it only two-thirds full. Place
in a steamer and steam for 15 minutes. (There is no
need to cover the basin). Un-mould and serve.
