Vegetables Recipes - Bean Sprouts With Green Pepper

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup (50ml) vegetable oil

  • 2 large green peppers, pith and seeds removed and cut into thin strips

  • 4 cups (1kg) bean sprouts

  • 3 tbsp rice wine or dry sherry

  • 2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp MSG (optional)


Method:

  1. Heat the oil in  a large frying-pan. When it is very hot, add the peppers and stir-fry for 2 minutes. Add the bean sprouts and stir-fry for a further 2 minutes.

  2. Add the remaining ingredients and stir-fry for 2 minutes. Transfer the mixture to a warmed serving dish and serve at once.
