Vegetables Recipes - Quick-Fried bean Sprouts

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (0.5kg) bean sprouts

  • 3 tbsp sesame oil

  • 2 spring onions, finely chopped

  • 4 tbsp Chinese cabbage, finely chopped

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 2 1/2 tbsp chicken stock 


Method:

  1. Heat the oil in a frying-pan. When it is hot, add the onion and stir-fry for 30 seconds. Stir in the bean sprouts and cabbage and stir-fry until they are translucent.

  2. Sprinkle over the salt and stir-fry for a further 1 1/2 minutes. Add the stock and stir-fry for 1 minute.

  3. Transfer to a warmed serving dish and serve.
