Chinese Recipes - Barbecue Marinade Recipe
Ingredients
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 slice ginger root, minced
250 ml/1 cup soy sauce
15 ml/1 tbsp brown sugar
15 ml/1 tbsp rice wine or dry sherry
Method:
Mix all the ingredients and pour over spare ribs. Leave to stand for 1 hour, basting occasionally, then drain and cook.
Baste with the marinade while cooking or use as the base for a sauce.
