Chinese Recipes - Brown Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
15 ml/1 tbsp groundnut (peanut) oil
1 spring onion (scallion), minced
10 ml/2 tsp brown sugar
15 ml/1 tbsp soy sauce
30 ml/2 tbsp water
Method:
Heat the oil and stir-fry the spring onion until lightly browned.
Add the sugar, soy sauce and water and stir-fry for a few seconds until heated through. Sprinkle over fried eggs to serve.
