Chinese Sauces Recipes - Egg Foo Yung Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 175 ml/6 fl oz/3/4 cup chicken stock

  • 5 ml/1 tsp soy sauce

  • 10 ml/2 tsp corn flour (cornstarch)

  • salt


Method:

  1. Heat the stock with the soy sauce. Blend the corn flour to a paste with little of the stock then stir it into the mixture and season with salt.

  2. Heat, stirring, for 1 minute then spoon over the egg foo yung.
