Chinese Sauces Recipes - Pineapple Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

• 45 ml/3 tbsp sugar

• 45 ml/3 tbsp wine vinegar

• 15 ml/1 tbsp corn flour (cornstarch)

• 120 ml/4 fl oz/1/2 cup pineapple juice

• pinch of salt

Method:

1. Mix together all the ingredients and simmer, stirring, until the sauce thickens.

2. Pour over cooked carrots or cabbage to serve.
