Marinade Recipe
Ingredients

1 slice ginger root,
minced
-
60 ml/4 tbsp brown
sugar
-
45 ml/3 tbsp soy
sauce
-
2.5 ml/1/2 tsp
five-spice powder
-
5 ml/1 tsp rice wine
or dry sherry
Method:
-
Mix all the ingredients together and rub over spare
ribs.

Leave to stand for 1 hour, basting
occasionally, then drain and cook. Baste with the
marinade while cooking.
